Declaration to the world

1913.7.12
Since the revolution, the south was unified with the north.
In Komland, the state and the people rejoiced in peace and prosperity. It is
the Central government’s violation of the law and its brutality that end the
abidance of our people and commence the dissidence. The government confronted
the people with no integrity and repentance, yet its trickery only caused
resentment, that is, the north troop approaching Komland and our governor being
deposed despotically. Given the indignation of Komlish, a choice of force is not
unreasonable. It is for the sake of the wellbeing of the living that we endured
under the ruthlessness of the government. However, the government demonstrated
no empathy, and compelled us even further, arbitrarily deploying north troop
into our land, as if it yearned for our revolt. Komland is of no turmoil.
Therefore, is the arrival of north troop for the restoration of order? No, it
is but a pestering to the local. Such acts under a republic is indeed a
transgression against the law. Komlish, at the verge of tolerance, abide in
humiliation, only to expect the penitence and rehabilitation of Mr. Yuan, yet
he regarded our acts as impotence and advanced his autocracy. We the Komlish
shall endure no further. On behalf of the people, now we declare the independence
of Komland and the separation from the Central government. We swear to bind the
neck of the one who committed the inhumanity with the castigation for breaching
the law and endangering us people. Hence, we declare.
